Celebrating 20 years of work with the opening of a new one
plant of the company Saračević Tešanj

On September 9, 2022, with the ceremonial opening of the new production facility, the company Saračević from
Tešnja marked 20 years of existence and work. To the solemn ceremony marking the twentieth
the anniversary of the company was attended by numerous business partners as well as guests from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The company Saračević is today a reliable partner for customers in the country and abroad, but, in order to
that became behind them is a path that brought with it various challenges. The company has 60 employees
which are distributed in three profit sectors: wholesale, service center and HWP program.

Development of the company in the last 20 years

In the last four years, the company has recorded growth greater than planned, not only financially, but also
in the segment of increasing market share. The company Saračević points out that the latter two are
years showed them that the turbulence that occurs in the market can bring unexpected opportunities
for growth but also challenges for financing as well as unforeseen risks. About the twenty-year-old himself
Enes Omahić, director, tells us about the Saračević company’s path.

“The company was registered in 2002 and for the next few years was the first stage of entry into
business when the company had primarily one supplier and one customer. During the second
stage, recognition of market needs continued and the owner decided to expand the assortment,
as well as ways of working and fulfilling certain customer requirements. In that period, they were also acquired
the first saws for cutting to measure and dimension according to the customer’s request, as well as a semi-automatic gas cutter.
The third phase implied a significant step forward in terms of modernization and entry into a new one
business, which is the use of CNC machines and cutting materials with CNC machines for the needs of customers,
i.e. parts that are actually a semi-finished product, and a special partnership with Sweden
company SSAB. This was followed by the reorganization and transformation that
implied a new organizational structure. The owner decided to transform the leadership
company from ownership to professional management, and he comes to the head of the company
Management team Saračević - MTS and establishment of MSS - Management system Saračević
which is the company’s new management system based on the requirements of the international ISO standard
9001 with the vision of the company Saračević in the future”

2016 as a turning point in business development

According to Admir Saračević, director of sales marketing, the company since 2016
works according to a new model because the owner Osmo Saračević decided to retire from
of business explains to you:

“He sat down with his kids and talked about it. Not really, it was easy to explain to the children in which
it will go in a new direction. Considering that I am one of the sons, I cannot say that Mirza and I are
believed in that story. It was quite difficult for me. For a long time, I kind of saw myself on that one
his place. On the other hand, today when I look at where we are and what path we are on
passed to get to this level from 2016  until today, I now know it was the only one
the right path for the company, for the company to experience that transformation. Company today
managed by a professional management team, where our owner has insight into what is being done but
it is not operationally related to business.”

Export as a strategic commitment

As we found out in this company, the strategic commitment of the Saračević company is investment
to the service center, that is, to production, which is also shown by the new production plant, which is today
open. The new plant is spread over two floors and will enable shortening of the production period for customers
and contribute to the company’s competitiveness on the market.

“The new production facility implies the relocation of the current service center to a new location.
In the meantime, the company Saračević invested in two new machines: one laser with
a work table 2 by 6 meters and a plasma with a gas cutter 2.5 by 6. This means new machines and
one is already installed and the other will be installed in the following period at that new location, which
will contribute to a greater service capacity of the Saračević company, greater stability and operation of the plant in
two shifts instead of the previous three shifts,” Admir Saračević told us.

In addition to investing in production capacity, the company also invests in renewable energy sources
that is, the construction of solar power plants. The Saračević company points out that they are a reliable partner at
in the long run and that they want to meet every deadline they agree with the customer.

“The Saračević company lives off its customers, therefore it makes its resources available to them
meaning. When we said the availability of deliveries and other performances that we monitor, they are
indicators that 95% of deliveries are on time: in terms of quality, required quantity and deadline
required by our customer This implies a complete service from the moment of receiving the order
until realization and all post-sales actions that take place after that.” - says Enes Omahić,
director of the company Saračević.
